As I mentioned before, I went to Amsterdam for a few days with my parents a few days ago. I had a really good time and I've bought some really cool (at least, I think so) things and I'm glad my dad had to go there for his work (even though it's about an hour/an hour and a half from my house) so me and my mom could go shopping! ^^
Sadly I couldn't find cute loli-able clothes, but there were a lot of other cute things to buy! Now I'm going to save up for my trip to Japan x-x I need more dresses and I'm planning to buy them in Japan!
Oops, enough rambling about Japan! Back to the Amsterdam trip!
We departed around 9:45 and we arrived in Amsterdam not much more than an hour later. After parking close to our hotel, my dad discovered that he'd forgotten his wallet! Luckily, my mom brought hers so we could go shopping while my dad would drive back to our hometown and get his wallet.
While we were in the tram on our way to the Rozengracht, my dad called us. He had barely enough fuel to make it to our hometown so he wasn't sure that he would make it. Luckily, he watches a lot of Top Gear and knew that if he turned off everything that burns fuel, he could make it. He made it back safe and sound eventually!
Meanwhile, me and my mom arrived at a long street called the Rozengracht and we decided to follow the street because it would lead us to the centre of the city. While walking, I suddenly noticed we were walking past Roppongi, a bento (they also sell food and books but bento is main) shop which I actually wanted to visit! So I dragged my mom inside and we looked at all of the pretty bento they sold there!
There was only one bento I really wanted though, and that was the My Neighbor Totoro bento. I just couldn't resist it, it was too cute! I already saw it on the Abunai convention earlier this year, but I didn't buy it back then. Now my mom bought it for me, along with a drink and some sauce bottles for my bento. I can't wait to use it!
When we left Roppongi, it suddenly started to rain! We only had one umbrella, so we continued along the way for a bit until we found a place to eat something. We found one rather quickly and ordered some grilled cheese sandwiches because we decided to stop somewhere else for a snack later anyways.
The street didn't really have that much of a variety in clothing shops (they had like 5 H&M's in one street! crazy right?) so we mostly skipped those. I ended up not buying any clothing but I bought some cute clips at Claire's and two books.
|The things I bought~|
On the picture you can see my bento, the drink (it was really good but I have no idea what it is!), a book about speaking Japanese, the Who-ology book, the sauce bottles (they're shaped like a rabbit, a frog and a duckling!) and my sets of hairclips. The clips go really well with my clothing!
We returned to the hotel and rest for a bit until my dad returned from the congress he went to. We went for dinner at an Indian restaurant, even though we all never had Indian food before. But it was delicious and spicy and I was glad I chose to eat there.
So far day one of my trip to Amsterdam~ I'm sorry for the lack of photo's, I just forgot about them! I promise I'll make more next time~
Part two coming up later!
